The Easter Bunny is stopping by to celebrate the Annual Easter Eggstravaganza at the Windsor Community Recreation Center! Search for eggs in the water during our egg splash in the indoor pool; take part in our traditional egg hunt in the gym; and enjoy open gym activities, games, and a chance to win door prizes with your child on this sweet and special day! Bring your Easter basket and swimsuit! Pre-registration is required.

The Greeley Stampede is an annual summer celebration held in Greeley, CO. It spans two weekends and features pro-rodeo, bull-riding and kids rodeos, country and classic rock concerts, demolition derby, televised 4th of July parade, Carnival Midway, Western Art Show, free stage entertainment, and loads of festival grounds activities mixed with food and fun galore. The Greeley Stampede is rich in tradition and heritage dating back to the late 1800s. This community celebration that was started to honor local potato farmers, has grown into an internationally acclaimed festival attracting over 250,000 people annually from the United States and internationally.

Celebrate the 4th of July in Windsor at Boardwalk Park! There will be snack food vendors and a fireworks display. Fireworks will launch at approximately 9:10 p.m. Attendees are invited to bring picnic baskets, lawn chairs, and blankets for convenience and comfort. No tents or structures are allowed.

Located in Cheyenne, WY about 45 minutes north of Fort Collins, Cheyenne Frontier Days is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo that draws top professionals who compete for more than $1 million in cash and prizes. Since 1897 Cheyenne has celebrated its Old West roots with this eye-popping summer festival. Complementing the daily rodeo action are behind-the-chutes tours, trick riding, and a wild horse race. A Native American Village, an old frontier town, a saloon,

square dancing, a check wagon cook-off, pancake breakfasts, and an art show carry through the frontier theme. Rounding out the program are a carnival midway, an air show, top-name entertainment, professional bull riding shows, and several parades that include antique carriages and automobiles.

 

Things kick off on Friday with an all-town dinner, live music, and a beer garden – hosted by the new Severance Chamber of Commerce!

Bright and early Saturday (7:00 a.m.) come wet a line in the annual fishing derby at Blue Spruce Park then, at 9:00, head on over and check out the assorted booths and food trucks at Lakeview Park. Saturday evening, starting at 5:00 p.m., you’ll find craft brews, food trucks, live music, and our annual Rocky Mountain Oyster Eating contest all happening at Overlook Park.

 

Labor Day Weekend

The Harvest Festival starts with a hot-air balloon launch and goes on to include a mud volleyball tournament, all-town barbecue, concert and street dance, beer garden, home and garden show, various vendors, pie-eating contests, and a Labor Day parade through town.

The Chamber and the Windsor Downtown Development Authority partner to host an Ugly Sweater Wine Walk in Downtown Windsor. Dress in your ugliest sweater or holiday attire and celebrate the holiday season while you explore local businesses, feast on delicious appetizers, and sip on fine wines.

 

First Saturday in December

Town of Windsor’s Annual Windsor Wonderland event will kick off with the arrival of Santa at noon at Boardwalk Park. After Santa’s arrival stick around for professional pictures with Santa, holiday treats, live performances, and a tree lighting ceremony to conclude the event.

Second Saturday in December

Santa will be there from 3pm - 5pm!  As well as free horse carriage rides, vendor booths, choir singing and a firework show!
