Transit

Riding the Electric City Transit
Bus transportation in the Anderson and Pendleton areas, as well as the surrounding areas. It has never been more convenient for senior citizens and disabled citizens. Every bus is now permitted to leave regular routes (up to three-quarters of a mile) to pick up or drop off riders who live outside the regular routes.

CAT Bus – everyone rides free
Clemson Area Transit is a public service provided fare-free by Clemson University, the City of Clemson, the Town of Central, the Town of Pendleton, the City of Seneca, Anderson County, the South Carolina Department of Transportation, and the Federal Transit Administration.

Airports

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport
Near Greer, SC, midway between Greenville and Spartanburg, the major cities of the Upstate region. The airport is the second-busiest airport in South Carolina, with about 2.31 million passengers in 2018. GSP is serviced by six-passenger airlines and their regional affiliates.

Anderson Regional Airport
The Anderson Regional Airport serves the citizens and business of Anderson County and surrounding areas. Fueling, aircraft storage, aircraft maintenance, pilot services, and aircraft services are provided by well-trained and courteous line staff. Other Airport amenities include flight planning and catering, as well as a pilot lounge, quiet room, free crew car, car rental, and conference room.

Oconee County Regional Airport
County-owned municipal airport in Oconee County.
The airport’s 5,000-foot long runway has a precision GPS instrument approach and a non-precision GPS instrument approach and is home for 75-based aircraft. It also hosts the Clemson University Flight Dept. and the Clemson University Flying Club. The airfield can host up to 75 transient aircraft with ramp and tie-down spaces for both turbine and piston-engine aircraft. The FBO, Van Surdam Vintage Aircraft offers top-notch aircraft maintenance services. Car rentals are provided by Hertz and ENTERPRISE Rent-a-car, both serve the airport six days per week.

Pickens County Airport
Pickens County Airport is a great place to base your aircraft, but even if you are only passing through, you'll enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and hospitality here 365 days a year. Providing excellent facilities that include an outdoor picnic area, flight planning room with weather service, and a snack bar. If you are staying for a longer period of time overnight and long term, aircraft tie-downs are offered, and enclosed hangar space for based aircraft.
