World of Energy
Located on beautiful Lake Keowee beside Oconee Nuclear Station, Duke Energy's World of Energy is an education center with self-guided exhibits that teach visitors of all ages how electricity is made. Visitors can explore interactive games, a topographical map of the Keowee-Toxaway Project, a short nature trail, a butterfly garden and a picnic area with a view of Lake Keowee. Admission to the facility is free. The World of Energy is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Special events are held throughout the year.

Denver Downs
Denver Downs Farm, which offers a huge corn maze, a jumping pillow, zip line and much more. Barnyard bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights from sunset until closing — guests relax around the bonfire, enjoy live music, and roast some marshmallows for s'mores. After dark, guests gather around the main stage for an exciting musical and light show. Three giant singing jack-o-lantern faces will entertain you with their lip-sync to various pop songs. Guests are invited to join the dance party on stage during the show. Bring your glow items and flashlights to help find your way through the 10-acre maze; it’s a fall evening adventure in a beautiful field under a starry sky.

Kid Venture
The Kid Venture playground was built for the children of Anderson County through a volunteer organization, “Community Partners At Play.” Kid Venture is open daily for community children to enjoy. The age limit inside the playground is 12 years old. At times, the playground might be closed due to large events on the grounds of the Anderson Sports and Entertainment Center.
This popular park with soccer and baseball fields also features a large playground and lake with ducks.

Pickens Jaycee Park
Jaycee Park has something for everyone. Town Creek meanders through the 23-acre recreational area with access to both sides of the park made available via Collins Bridge. The park boasts two lighted tennis courts, the Playground of Promise, a Picnic Pavilion which is also lighted with fans, two picnic shelters, two lighted youth baseball fields, concession and bathrooms, one lighted senior baseball field, one lighted football field with grandstands and press box and two paved parking lots.
