LOCAL TIP:
"Venture no farther than Katy Asian Town on Colonial Parkway where there are several places to choose from and delicious flavors for every person in the family. Check out a spin on the waffle cone at Bubble Egg where you can find a bubble waffle filled with delicious gelato-style ice cream and sweet toppings. In the same shopping center, check out ChungChun and nosh on some gourmet corndogs and bingsu. If you are new to bingsu, imagine shaved ice topped with condensed milk, chopped fruit and sweet syrup in a ton of interesting flavors like Earl Grey and mango cheesecake! While you are there you must take home some of their mochi donuts because they are all the hype and so deliciously fluffy." – Danielle Gilman
