Welcome to the Sunshine State

Get Out on the Water!

Stuart Causeway Courtesy, Bill Escue

Although the Treasure Coast received its name from the riches of sunken Spanish ships found in nearby waters, we consider our coastline to be a “natural treasure” and one that can be enjoyed throughout the year. Beaches all along our shore are highlighted by clear blue waters, sparkling sands, lush vegetation, and quiet corners, with some offering specific activities such as surfing, picnicking, fishing, and boat ramps. Following is a list of just a few area beaches from south to north, most of which are located on south Hutchinson Island.
