Fun Family Things To Do
Whether you’re looking for ways to keep the kids active outdoors, or you need a great way to spend a rainy day indoors, there are plenty of choices in Johnson County.
In Greenwood, you can spend a fun day at the community center with its year-round indoor play zone that features two stories of STEM-focused activities. If that’s not your thing, maybe an exciting, fast-paced game at the Indy Paintball Battleground will be just what you’re looking for.
In the Franklin area there’s bowling, skating, or, for the really adventurous, you might want to check out the Urban Air Adventure Park. Whatever your choice, make time to stop by the Hoosier Cupboard Candy and Snacks shop downtown. Give yourself plenty of time – there’s so many choices, it will be hard to decide!
For those race drivers in the family, be sure to visit Rascals Fun Zone or Whiteland Race Park. If you’re looking for a fun and different outing, check out Indiana Little Steamers in the Johnson County Park in Nineveh (also a great place for a unique birthday party!) or a trip to Apple Works in Trafalgar where the kids get a chance to visit the animals or get plenty of exercise on the Super Slide and Rope Barn.
