Kephart Park: Bargersville's Long-Awaited Gem

As parents of four children, finding a park that caters to the needs and interests of each family member has been a challenge. However, our recent visit to Kephart Park in Bargersville exceeded our expectations. 

Kephart Park boasts a variety of amenities that enhance the visit. The presence of drinking fountains and bottle-filling stations kept our family hydrated throughout our time at the park. The excellent splash pad provided a safe and exciting water play area where our children had a blast.

Separate playground areas for small kids and big kids ensured age-appropriate play and a wide range of engaging activities, including swings, climbing structures, and slides. Every child in our family found something they loved.

The wooded nature trail offered a nice, shaded break from playground play. The wide sidewalks were large enough for bike riding added to the park's accessibility and offered fun adventures for our older children.

We were thrilled to discover the paved paths connecting Kephart Park to Whiteland Rd and downtown Bargersville. This convenient feature reflects the Town of Bargersville's commitment to promoting outdoor activities and community connectivity.

There were eight pickleball courts at the park. While our children played on the playground, my husband and I could enjoy a game of Pickleball.

Kephart Park also provided nice private restrooms with changing tables, ensuring a comfortable experience for parents of young children. Additionally, ample parking spaces were available, allowing for stress-free arrivals and departures.

The playground area is thoughtfully situated away from the busy road, providing a worry-free environment for our children to play and explore. The park's open grassy area provided the perfect space for picnics, games, and family bonding. 

The Town of Bargersville's commitment to strengthening the community's quality of life by promoting recreation and wellness is commendable. Kephart Park serves as a shining example of this dedication.

In conclusion, our visit to Kephart Park was filled with laughter, exploration, and cherished memories. This park's exceptional amenities, including the splash pad, diverse playgrounds, nature trail, and pickleball courts, showcased Bargersville's dedication to providing outstanding recreational facilities for families. We highly recommend Kephart Park to all parents seeking a delightful and safe environment for their little ones.
