Tulsa Non-Profits

Welcome, Fellow Tulsans. As you settle into your new home and start building connections,
we invite you to explore all the incredible nonprofit opportunities here. There are so many
wonderful organizations doing meaningful work in the area—find one that speaks to your
heart, volunteer, and discover your place in this vibrant community.

We’re thrilled to partner with local leaders James Schellhorn, co-founder of New Story
Brewing, and his managing partner, Chelsea Williams, who share our passion for bringing
people together and making a better place for all. James and Chelsea built a local beer
brand and taproom on the belief that if you impact people and inspire stories, the beer will
flow. New Story continues that tradition by partnering with local nonprofits, hoping to help
them elevate their next chapter and connect them with the Tulsa community in a
meaningful way. New Story Brewing enjoys highlighting local nonprofits that champion
education, conservation, wellness, and community service. Here’s a few great organizations
with opportunities to give back to our community and get involved.

The Demand Project (TDP) is dedicated to eradicating human trafficking, online enticement,

through their Mount Arukah programs, which directly support survivors. Jason Weis and
Kristin Weis founded The Demand Project (TDP) in 2013. They wanted to start an

enforcement but also the prevention of victimization through education and the restoration
