Farmers Markets in the Foothills
Fresh and Local
If you’ve recently moved to the Foothills, one of the best ways to get to know the area is through our locally grown food, produced by farmers who know the land best. From Community Supported Agriculture (CSAs) to bustling farmers markets, our local food offers a delicious way to connect with the Foothills, eat healthier, and make a positive impact close to home. Every dollar spent at a local farm or market helps strengthen our regional economy, supports responsible land stewardship, and reduces the environmental footprint of your food.
Local Farmers Markets
Our farmers markets are fantastic places to shop and are hubs of the community. Our local vendors include not only farmers but also beekeepers, bakers, cheesemakers, and artisans, all bringing locally grown and produced meats, produce, dairy, crafts, flowers, and more to your table.
Certified farmers markets require all vendors to undergo a strict application process, ensuring that the products sold are grown or made by the sellers themselves and meet rigorous health and safety standards. These also include visits from the Farmers Market staff to the farms themselves.
When you buy directly from producers, you can ask questions about how your food was grown, learn new cooking tips, and meet the people behind your favorite products. Live music, friendly faces, and the smell of fresh herbs and flowers are part of what make market mornings so special in the Foothills.

What is Community Supported Agriculture, and Why it Matters
With Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), you purchase a seasonal “share” directly from a local farm. Each week or month, you receive a box of the farm’s freshest products. Local fruits and vegetables are picked at peak ripeness, and a reflection of what’s in season. Each participating farm offers a unique set of options for its CSA program. Some have limited availability!
