Mark Walter
Mark Walter is the proud owner and publisher of BeLocal Greater Portland, a resource created specifically to help new homeowners feel right at home. With a passion for connecting people and supporting small businesses, Mark launched BeLocal to highlight the best of what makes Greater Portland special—from trusted local services to must-visit spots around town.
Originally drawn to N2 because of its people-first culture and proven model, Mark is committed to producing a publication that residents love and business owners are proud to be part of. Although he doesn't live in the Portland area (yet), when he's not meeting with local business partners or welcoming new families to the area, he likes to spend time with family and friends on Peaks Island, explore local trails and parks, visit his daughter at the University of Maine and enjoy local seafood and craft beer (hazy IPAs most especially).
