The Ott House is a popular destination for Mount St. Mary’s students as well as Emmitsburg locals. It is well worth the trip for those from the other far-off reaches of Frederick county as it has a great selection of beer on tap as well as a menu full of American classics like burgers, sandwiches, and fries. They have pool tables as well as dartboards and a jukebox, too, so feel free to turn your casual lunch into an afternoon of hanging out with friends.

Gambrill Mountain Food Co.
6 S. Bentz St., Frederick; (240) 439-4103
Gambrill Mountain Food Co. began as a local food truck, but, as their popularity grew, they opened a grounded location in Downtown Frederick. The Gambrill Mountain menu is full of surprises, having a little bit of everything from Spanish octopus to steak frites to a Philly cheesesteak and Bahn Mi. Although their selection is difficult – nay impossible – to categorize, that does not make their foods any less delicious and their serving sizes any less jaw-dropping.
