PCB Sports Complex in Panama City Beach

The 160-acre PCB Sports Complex, located just off Panama City Beach Parkway, boasts 13 multi-sports fields, nine artificial turf fields, collectively suitable for any and every field sport, from football and soccer, to lacrosse and field hockey, to baseball and softball. Opening in July 2019, the complex was envisaged and developed over several years by Visit Panama City Beach with the aim of creating another revenue source to drive economic growth in the tourism sector. The complex hosts a variety of national and regional events, including a major international flag football championship which drew teams from several countries and over 30 states.  

Lynn Haven Bayou Park and Preserve

The Lynn Haven Bayou Park and Preserve is located at 4770 County Rd. 2321. This 98-acre park, which opened in June 2021, is the only preserve-like park in Bay County east of the Hathaway Bridge. The project was put together by a partnership with the Trust for Public Land and the Department of Environmental Protection, and was gifted to the City of Lynn Haven. It is nestled between McKitchen Bayou and North Bay, and offers an ADA kayak launch, outdoor classroom, playground, fitness loop, 18-hole disc golf course, two miles of hiking trails, picnic pavilions, fishing/boat dock, and multiple scenic overlooks on the bay and bayou.
 
Frank Brown Park in Panama City Beach

Frank Brown Park is the premier facility for Panama City Beach sports, encompassing over 200 acres and offering something for everyone.  
  • Sports Fields: The park includes nine full-size baseball/softball diamonds designed for tournament-level play, two lighted T-ball fields, six lighted soccer fields, a lighted basketball court, volleyball courts, four lighted tennis courts, walking/biking trails, a 1.25-mile lighted jogging track, and a children’s playground.
  • Aquatic Center: This state-of-the-art facility’s 50-meter Olympic Pool is terrific for swim meets or pool training, and also has a springboard and a diving well that served as the event venue for a master’s synchronized swimming national championship. Parents and younger visitors will love the separate 5,000-square-foot splash park and kids' pool.
  • Pet-Friendly: Dog lovers will appreciate a fenced-in, off-the-leash dog play area located on Frank Brown Park grounds, while young fisherman can take advantage of a youth fishing pond on the property.
  • Events: Frank Brown Park regularly hosts regional and national events for youth and adults, including USFA Fastpitch Softball, Grand Slam Baseball, and the World Softball League.
