Established in 1962 by Paul Makray Sr. and originally called Thunderbird, Makray Memorial Golf Course is an 18-hole championship-caliber course that is open to the public, without the exclusion of membership, just like Paul wanted. It has a more than 24,000-square-foot clubhouse that offers various amenities to members, including locker rooms, dining areas, bar facilities, and banquet areas.

Barrington Park District Golf Learning Center

All ages welcome! The Barrington Park District operates a five-hole, par 3 Golf Learning Center located on Carl Avenue, two blocks west of Route 59, just south of Route 14. From April 1 to November 1, the course is open daily from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm. All ages are welcome to enjoy the game of golf at our Golf Learning Center.
