Barrington Art Festival
May 24-25

Cook and Station Street
The 11th annual Barrington Art Festival returns Memorial Day weekend, along Cook and Station streets in downtown Barrington. Free and open to the public, the Barrington Art Festival will showcase the work of more than 130-juried artists from around the world in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, painting, sculpture and more.


Cruise Night
Every Thursday, May 28-August 20, 6:00-8:30 pm

Cook and Station streets
Cruise Night takes place every Thursday on Cook and Station streets in Downtown Barrington. Bring the family to marvel at the classic cars, grab a bite to eat and play in the Family Fun Zone! There will be live music, beer, and wine on June 18, July 2, July 30 and August 13.


Farmers' Market
Every Thursday, June 18-October 15, 3:00-7:00 pm
Park Avenue
Enjoy fresh local produce and handmade items all summer long and into the fall, including farmhouse cheeses, fruit, vegetables, fresh-cut flowers, hot food and much more. Enjoy live music and kids' activities as you stroll through the stalls.


July Fourth Parade
Main Street
The Barrington Fourth of July Parade steps off at 10:00 am on July 4 from Barrington High School east on Main Street to the Metra Commuter Lot. The Community Band will perform again following the parade at the Brat Tent in the Metra Commuter Lot.

Bring your appetite for food and fun. Hosted by the Barrington Lions Club in cooperation with the Village of Barrington, the Barrington Brat Tent will feature food, drinks, activities, and games for kids, plus an exciting lineup of live music.

Enjoy access to 20 sample pours of fine wines and spirits, a souvenir wine glass, light nibbles, live entertainment and more at this fun charitable wine-tasting event! 


Brew Fest

Barrington Brew Fest will take over the Barrington Metra Train Station parking lot on July 11 for its 17th annual event! This adult-only event will feature plenty of your favorite brewers, sampling their summer seasonal beers plus music and food from local vendors. National Night Out

This is a free, fun, and educational event designed to promote positive police-community partnerships. Free food, bike helmets, digital fingerprinting, K9 demonstrations, family games, trackless train rides, face painting, and more!


Deer Park Jazz and Wine Festival
August 3, 12-9:30 pm
The eighth annual Deer Park Jazz and Wine Festival will be held at Deer Park Town Center and will feature a mixture of straight-ahead jazz, R&B Jazz and one of the most sought-after Latin Jazz groups in the Midwest. The music kicks off at 1 pm with vocalist Dan Ferris and his trio followed by local up-and-coming jazz guitarist and vocalist Francesca Castro and her quartet.
