Your Local Shopping Guide

Meagan Cafarelli launched her blog,, in 2017 to share her love of fashion, lifestyle, beauty and motherhood. She lives in Worthington, where she grew up, with her husband and two boys.

As a fashion blogger, I find myself shopping around Columbus almost daily. I’m always on the hunt for cool, new clothes and decor to share with my readers. And while Columbus has some fantastic malls, sometimes I don’t want to trek across town and deal with crowds. Luckily, we have some fantastic neighborhoods in this area that each offer a unique shopping experience. And I can grab a bite to eat at a cute cafe or restaurant while I’m in the area.

I live closest to Old Worthington, so it's my go-to destination for a cute outfit or a thoughtful gift. I know I can always find something in a pinch there. Just a few miles south is Clintonville with a more eclectic feel. There is not quite as much fashion but plenty of fun shops worth perusing. And the Short North Art District, not much further away, has my absolute favorite clothing boutiques. I love this part of the city because it combines Midwest hospitality with the look of a cosmopolitan city.
