What's not to love about our pets? Whether it's taking your four-legged buddy to the dog park, doing yogatos (yoga with cats) or finding a new pet, we've found some fun places to love the animals in our community.
Eat Purr Love, 3041 Indianola Ave. Columbus OH, 43202, 614-852-3521, Cat lovers, pour-over coffee, loose leaf teas and Pattycake baked goods. Hang out with some amazing adoptable cats, while supporting the mission of Columbus Humane. Reservations are suggested, but walk-ins can sometimes be accommodated. Look for special events, such as Yogatos (yoga with cats), Purrs and Palettes (painting with cats) and Kids & Kitties (storytime with cats).

Godown Dog Park, 6099 Godown Rd., 43235. This is a 10-acre park primarily developed as a dog park. It has a one-acre small dog area, a four-and-a-half-acre large dog area and includes benches, a dog water fountain and pathways winding through the park. Open from dawn to dusk.

Ohio House Rabbit Rescue

Park Your Paws Doggie Daycare, 4366 Indianola Ave., 43214, 614-262-7297, Your dog can run, jump, socialize or lounge at this home away from home while you work, entertain or run errands.

Pathwise to Independence of Central Ohio, 7020-D Huntley Rd., 43229, 614-273-9934, Doggie daycare with separate areas for large and small dogs, plus outdoor space. In addition, it's a vocational training site for teens with disabilities.

Pet People, 910 High St., 43085, 614-547-7120, Located next to the CVS in Worthington, Pet People features natural pet foods, treats and supplies, along with a self-service dog wash.
