Did you know? Studies have shown microgreens to be six to 40 times denser in nutritional value than mature vegetables! They’re available live or harvested – at Etum Organics.

Etum Organics
10535 E. Stockton Blvd., Ste. D, Elk Grove, CA 95624
(916) 546-9640
Hours: Sunday-Thursday | 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Based in Elk Grove, Etum Organics is a certified organic health food store with an accompanying indoor vertical farm. Since their organic farm is on-site, Etum has the ability to harvest produce as requested – resulting in fresher produce and less food waste. The farm grows a wide array of vegetables (kale, broccoli, mustard, beets, etc.) consistently, all year-round. In the retail store, you’ll find loose-leaf teas (like jasmine green tea, chai, mushroom tea), brewed teas (hot and cold), and sprouting seeds. Their produce/products can also be found at the Midtown Sacramento Farmers' Market – every Saturday.

Laguna Certified Farmers' Market

Time: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Every Saturday morning in front of Sprouts, the local farmers gather to sell produce directly to the public. Meet the farmers and get to know where and who grew the food that you eat. A variety of in-season California-grown fruits and vegetables, nuts, olive oil, meat, eggs, baked goods, honey, flowers and other farm products can be found. You will often see 30+ farmers in the summer. Even though the selection is smaller in the winter, you can always find locally grown, fresh produce. Occasionally, you will even hear live music!
